OVERVIEW
This online camp runs from 11 am ET to 5 pm ET starting on Monday, July 13th and ending on Friday, July 17th.
This advanced camp is designed for students rated between 1100 and 1600. Students rated below 1100 are allowed to join the advanced camp as long as they can keep up with the material. Students below 1100 should understand that the instructor will be targeting a rating range of 1100-1600 when preparing lessons.
This camp cost $400, but there is a sibling discount of $50 off per child (e.g. $100 total off for two siblings).
ABOUT International master joshua posthuma
Coach Joshua is an International Master. His USCF rating as of March 2026 is 2471, and his FIDE rating is 2380. He won back-to-back Michigan State Chess Championships in 2018 and 2019. Joshua is also a full-time professional chess instructor, and has guided numerous students to the USCF Top 100 list for their age groups. Joshua has dedicated his life to the game of chess, and has been an avid tournament player since the age of five.

| 4:30 - 5:00 | Students solve puzzles as a group |
